Attend pre-meal with attending kitchen staff for specials and menu additions.
Greet guests at table and take all orders.
Enter orders into Micros.
Prepare table for each course with appropriate setting.
Deliver orders to table in a timely manner and professional manner.
Clear and clean table after each course.
Present guest with check and process payment.
Clear and reset tables for next guest.
Take and deliver room service orders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High School Diploma required. Bachelors' degree preferred.
Minimum three years' related work experience banquets.
Flexibility to perform job responsibilities outside of this job description that may require assisting other departments in their regular functions.
Ability to comply with all hotels policy and procedures.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and/or flexible hours.
Must be alert, friendly and able to assist guests with courtesy and promptness.
Ability to stay focused and self-motivated for long periods of time.
Ability understand and speak English when receiving instructions in English or when speaking to people that speak language(s) other than own native language.
Ability to hear and verbally communicate customer requests.
Excellent computer skills - Excel, Word, Publisher
