WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Product Launches, Marketing and Sales Support:
  • Support the definition, maintenance and implementation of product line strategies and new product roadmaps for our nVent Hoffman electrical enclosure products within North America and Europe.

  • Support the marketing communications team to develop appropriate collateral support for catalogs, launch kits, competitive alerts, sales communications, instruction sheets, etc.

  • Serve as product expert for nVent Hoffman electrical enclosure products to support internal team, field sales, channel partners and end customers.

Portfolio Management and Performance:
  • Drive existing portfolio life cycle management process, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring current and future market requirements are met to increase profitability.

  • Foster cross-functional activities to improve performance of product lines including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, quality and delivery.

Sales Market Research, Analysis, and Competitive Intelligence:
  • Conduct voice of the customer (VOC), primary, secondary and observational research to facilitate development of product plans, and identification of new products and service opportunities.

  • Provide relevant market analysis and recommendations for existing products, new technologies, and emerging markets

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business is required.

  • 2+ years of product management, marketing, sales, or new product development experience or related experience with relevant products or industries

  • Role will require ~20% travel.
