Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience building courses and online learning assets within a learning management system such as Blackboard/Brightspace. Broad knowledge and interest in biology. Familiar with technology - both PC and Apple related.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Biology. Two or more full-time years of experience instructional support for biology undergraduate courses. Experience overseeing discussion board threads via any online learning management system. One year or more full-time years of experience editing and captioning lecture videos.
Brief Description of Duties:
Assist the Director of Biology online in supporting courses within the Biology Online. Attention to detail is critical for this position. The successful incumbent will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, exercising strong organizational and time-management skills with an exceptional attention to detail. Essential for this role is the adeptness to work independently as well as part of a diverse team with a collaborative approach to problem solving.

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $3,087 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
