DESCRIPTION

POSITION PURPOSE

This role is pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our healthcare solutions to facilities and professionals, enhancing brand awareness, and driving market growth. As a Marketing Specialist, you will leverage your understanding of the healthcare environment and marketing expertise to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns. You will work closely with product teams, sales personnel, and healthcare professionals to deliver compelling marketing materials and digital content that resonates with our target audience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Healthcare Industry Knowledge:

  • Gain and apply a thorough understanding of healthcare operations, challenges, and priorities to inform marketing strategies.
  • Utilize basic knowledge of infection prevention principles to highlight how our products and services meet healthcare needs.

Marketing Expertise:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies across digital, content, and traditional advertising channels.
  • Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns, analyzing outcomes to guide future strategies.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights, understand customer needs, and monitor competitors.

E-Commerce Platform Management:

  • Help drive PDI's e-commerce strategies, with a particular focus on optimizing our Amazon storefront.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure a cohesive online product offering and promotional strategy.
  • Monitor and analyze Amazon sales performance, adjusting strategy based on data insights.
  • Ensure that all e-commerce activities align with PDI's brand identity and marketing objectives.

Digital Marketing Skills:

  • Manage social media platforms to enhance brand promotion and engage with the audience.
  • Create informative and compelling content tailored to healthcare professionals.
  • Apply SEO and SEM techniques to improve online visibility and engagement.

Communication Skills:

  • Craft clear and effective marketing materials and communications.
  • Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement.

Analytical Abilities:

  • Analyze marketing data and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify challenges and strategize effective solutions in a dynamic environment.

Organizational and Planning Skills:

  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate and execute significant events, such as trade shows and product launches.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory standards and ethical practices in the healthcare industry.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and content creation.
  • Understanding of marketing and selling through e-commerce marketplaces.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 1-2 years experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas to marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Designed and executed marketing campaigns specifically for boosting online sales, including email marketing, PPC advertising, and seasonal promotions.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar to gather and interpret relevant data.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and ability to work with new technology platforms.
  • Designed and executed marketing campaigns specifically for boosting online sales, including email marketing, PPC advertising, and seasonal promotions.
  • Ability to analyze sales data to understand consumer buying patterns and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

WORKING CONDITIONS

SALARY RANGE

  • $55,000 - $70,000 annually
