Retail Fire Life Safety Manager
Summary of Duties:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the field of fire and life safety with an emphasis of working in a corporate environment
Certified FDNY Fire Life Safety Director capable of conducting fire drills and training
Provide FLS oversight for multiple States where retail branches are located as part of the bank's portfolio.
Will require travel to retail branches in the JLL portfolio for periodic inspection purposes.
Be knowledgeable in fire alarm Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (ITM) frequencies as mandated by local AHJ.
Be knowledgeable in fire extinguisher and emergency lighting ITM frequencies.
Be knowledgeable in NFPA 25 (Water Based ITM) and NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm ITM) Standards.
Track to completion all open fire life safety issues reported by bank staff during their Semi-Annual safety inspections.
Consult and provide direction to FM Retail Team on service issues and code compliance questions.
Coordinate with retail FM teams to ensure all fire alarm reports received thru client's security monitoring center are responded to in a timely manner. Include follow up and cause of incident to client's FLS Team.
Participate in FLS Team meetings and training as required.
Expedite fire alarm phone line issues by creating and tracking to completion phone vendor service tickets.
Periodic inspection of retail branches to ensure fire life safety compliance of fire alarm, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), etc.
Periodic inspection to ensure client's office electric guidelines are being followed by branch staff.
Assist our team where necessary during periodic staff training and fire/evacuation drills at commercial locations.
Update as required fire alarm and central monitoring inventory spreadsheets.
