We are seeking a talented and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our amazing team at Kaman Precision Products in Middletown, CT. If you have excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for quality, we want to hear from you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Develop and implement plans to accomplish Quality department objectives that support schedule and meet contract objectives.
  • Work with and interpret blueprints, drawings and mil-specs in accordance with government and/or customer contract requirements.
  • Support closeout of NC's to ensure appropriate corrective action has been taken.
  • Support Quality Department FAI inspection activities.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of training programs, as needed.
  • Follow standard departmental and company procedures as outlined by management.
Qualifications

BS degree in related technical field and 0 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance or related responsibilities, or AS degree in related technical field and 4 to 7 years of experience in quality assurance or related responsibilities.

Broad knowledge of a general technical field such as quality assurance engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, or applied sciences.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 regulations.

Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for excellence.
