As a part of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group (Optum Urgent Care) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our growing team in Connecticut. At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing physician-led care locally. 

Work Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts. Occasional weekends and holidays

Location:  875 E Main Street, Meriden CT

Primary Responsibilities:

• Moderate work experience within own function
• Some work is completed without established procedures
• Basic tasks are completed without review by others
• Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks

Required Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Connecticut state license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology 
• Certification from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• 1+ years of experience as a technician
• 1+ years of experience in Hospital or Urgent care  
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as MA, CNA 
• Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function
• Applies knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day
• Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
• Solves routine problems on own
• Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems
• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
• Works with others as part of a team

Connecticut Residents Only: The hourly range for Connecticut residents is $23.94 to $42.40.
